    DON,T replace in the brood can be a male and Them the male mates with a worker and a new gamergate

    If you put them in a large dirt setup and just leave them too it, then they will grow rapidly. My colony went from ten to a hundred in eight months by doing this. Inspect your ants to check if any of them have small orange spots, as these show that they are capable of laying as they haven't been mutilated.

    Actually, I believe there may be a Gamergate, as I had this species before, but never laid any eggs when I kept them in the same antsaustralia nests. The problem was immediately solved when I moved them into a natural setup. I suggest you try this, and then move them into an artificial nest once the gamergate is settled.

    You should find a local diacamma keeper and get a male from them. Or you can ask whoever you bought them from to replace them or give you a male

    Rob I haven’t seen my Prenolepis imparis colony in about a week they are a small colony with about 20 workers should I be worried?
