In her talk Mariam Mughdusyan speaks about all those women artists who were never famous, just because they were women. She is sure that art is never about gender, but about talent. Mariam Mughdusyan has graduated from Yerevan State University with the Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Later she earned her Master of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Yerevan Fine Art Academy. Currently, she is working on her Ph.D. in Journalism at Yerevan State University. From 2007 to 2012, Mariam has worked at Hetq.am as a correspondent. From 2013 to 2014, she was a painting teacher at Naregatsi Art Institute. In 2012, Mariam founded Culture of Democracy NGO and the main activities of this NGO is writing and editing articles, organizing events, debates and trainings. In 2014, she also founded the Mughdusyan Art Center to teach children to paint and implement various art projects. As of now, Mariam works at the Ministry of Justice in the RA as the Chief specialist of Personal data Protection Agency.
